Vermont Workers' Center Releases Health Care Plan

BURLINGTON, Vt. -  The governor plans to have his plan to pay for single-payer health care next month. But the Vermont Workers' Center has released its own plan.

The group says it would like to see all funding for Vermonters' health care raised through state taxes, and the elimination of all out-of-pocket medical costs. The center says the state should institute a wealth tax scrapping preferential rates for capital gains and revamping corporate taxation. Advocates say the issue is fairness.
